Key Features of the Role:

The Head Therapist will manage a team of massage therapists working on site, and will need to have experience in this area, as you are managing part time and full-time staffing, bookings, and guest engagement. Working 40 hours a week.

Making sure all treatment rooms are well stocked and equipped with everything needed to carry out a range of unique and bespoke treatments and liaising with suppliers.

The brand offers a close to nature and authentic holistic experience to guests which does not disappoint, you have to be able to deliver a high standard range of body treatments and facials.

As Head Therapist you will need to be comfortable working closely with the hotel's senior management team and Group Treatment Manager.

You and your team will always be developing through the extensive in-house training, which means you must be able to engage, encourage and positively support your team through this.

As someone who will go the extra mile setting the example, you will need to present yourself in a friendly yet professional manner, openly engaging with guests both inside and outside the treatment rooms.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

Experience leading a team of massage therapists by example is essential, as well as having a high standard range of holistic body and facial therapist skills.

You must be proficient in all aspects of massage, body treatments and facials, able to carry out the duties and responsibilities of a massage therapist, and able to work as a cohesive team.

Sales training or knowledge is extremely desirable as you will be targeted on product sales and need to be able to suggest, offer, recommend the right products and or treatments in a friendly and professional manner.

Face to face customer service experience and guest engagement is a key requirement of this role, either in the treatment room or at the hotel reception.

Ideally, we require a Level 3 or above qualification in holistic treatment (CIDESO, CIBTAC, NVQ or VTCT) working at a Senior Therapist position or higher.

Must have car or own transport to get to site, as no reliable public transport links.
