Our client is a leading Oil & Gas Engineering company based in Norwich.
We are recruiting on their behalf for a Quality Engineer to work across their project groups.
Duties will include:
• Supporting the Head of QHSE & Business Improvement.
• Responsible for continued development/improvement.
• Support the development of audit & Improvement Programmes.
• Produce Quality Inspection Test Plans for Projects and Bids.
• Deliver QHSE support and advice to Projects and Bids.
• Review project documentation to Company standards.
• Take part in Bid, Project & Design reviews.
• Manage the application / use of non-conformance process to closure.
• Lead / support project improvement activity.
• Report regularly on quality related project performance.
• Support the implementation of the Quality Management System.
• Conduct inspections and liaising with suppliers.
• Support the completion of internal & external Auditing program.
• Compilation of reports, inspection forms and release notes.
Person specification:
You should hold a relevant industry quality qualification a level 3 QHSE qualification and recognised auditor certification. and must have at least five years' experience in the Oil & Gas, Petro Chemical or similar industry in a similar role preferably dealing with offshore structures, drilling or subsea equipment.
This is an initial fixed-term contract of three months and will require you to work from your home office.
The salary is pro rata of GBP30 - 35k per annum.
