Industry: Food Production and Distribution
Location: Isle of Wight, Arreton
Hours: part time or full time roles available (up to 40 hours per week), early starts.
Days: dependent upon hours (Monday - Saturday)
To deliver fresh produce and derivative products to customers.
Collection of Vehicle and stock.
To perform van checks basic maintenance and cleaning.
To load stock with the help of dispatch team.
To adhere to all health and safety / hygiene guidelines.
Duties:
To promote and deliver fresh produce and derivative products.
Collection of vehicle and stock, driving up to 3.5t, adherence to routes and schedules.
Multi drop deliveries, unloading vehicle, manual handling.
Liaison with customers, promotion of new lines, product advice.
Collation of delivery notes and receipts.
Liaison with warehouse and sales teams.
Vehicle checks, basic maintenance, reporting necessary repairs.
Adherence to health & safety and hygiene standards.
Experience:
Must have previous commercial driving experience and a full driver's licence. Must be over 25 due to insurance requirements.
Must be physically fit due to the nature of duties.
Must have good customer service and communication skills.
Must have good initiative and be self-motivated
