As an organisation we are recruiting for a number of Employability contracts to support the unemployment back to work. This job will play a key role in contributing to the UK's economic recovery, 'Restart' which is a cornerstone of the Governments 'Plan for Jobs' strategy and the existing expansion to the Work and Health Programme (WHP_JETS). The role will be supporting individuals who have been in long- term unemployment or those affected because of the devastating economic impact of Covid-19. We will address the barriers to gaining new employment with tailored support for each individual to achieve and sustain good work, including supported job search, re-training for a different sector and restoring self-confidence for work.

Join us as an Operational Excellence Lead to support in the successful delivery of the Seetec Pluss Continuous Improvement Strategy. We need your drive to promote consistency in delivering operational best practice.

Our ideal candidate will be experienced in the design and implementation of service delivery improvements. A self-driven and highly motivated Continuous Improvement professional skilled in Lean tools and techniques. Experience of driving a Lean Transformation Programme ideally within a service driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
As an embedded Continuous Improvement specialist within the Employability arm of the Seetec Group, the Operational Excellence (OpEX) Lead will be expected to:

Support in producing and delivering Strategic Improvement Programmes
Facilitate regular Team Based Improvement Activity/Events
Report on on-going improvement activity, along with benefits tracking in regard to our People, Costs, Delivery and Quality
Coach and support in the sustainment of change and benefits realisation
Through the use of local data, support & coach in the delivery of daily improvements
Provide daily coaching and support in Lean thinking across all departments
Deliver regular training courses in line with the Seetec Pluss Continuous Improvement Training Programme

Skills and Experience
Essential

A proven track record of delivering tangible benefits within a large multi-site organisation.
A proven coach/mentor with the ability to gain trust and engage all levels within an organisation.
An expert facilitator capable of leading teams through Improvement Activities such as Value Stream Analysis, 3P, Rapid Improvement Events and Team Based Problem Solving.
A proven trainer with the ability to successfully engage with and educate people in Lean thinking, tools and techniques.

Desirable

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt qualified.
An understanding of Quality Management Systems.
Experience across multiple channels, including contact centres.

Additional Information
Salary: GBP44,000 - GBP48,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Location: Remote
Hours: 37 hrs (full time) 8.30am- 5.00pm Monday -Thursday, Friday 8.30am -4.30pm
Closing Date: 16th March 2022 (Rolling campaign due to high volume of activity)
