Retail & Front of House Manager

Salary GBP27,000 per annum

Founded in 1967, the Ironbridge Gorge Museums Trust Ltd is a registered charity whose twin aims are education and heritage conservation.

The Trust cares for 35 scheduled monuments and listed buildings within the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site and operates 10 award winning museums which collectively tell the story of the Ironbridge Gorge's universal significance for its unique role in the development of the Industrial Revolution. The museums receive around 450,000 visits a year including 70,000 school visits. This unique site extends to over 73 hectares (180 acres), most of which is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and Scheduled as an Ancient Monument.

We require an experienced Retail & Front of House Manager, to lead the Front of House teams in the delivery an outstanding customer journey for an Independent Charitable trust, developing and driving a customer focused commercial operation including maximising available assets and long-term strategic planning.

This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to work with the Visitor Engagement Director in delivering a successful exhibit retail operation by maximising income from ticket sales, gift aid and donations across all Front of House teams within this charitable organisation.
