The Role

* My client is looking for an experienced HR Officer to deliver full life cycle HR services across their business.

* Supporting the HR Manager, you will be responsible for full life cycle HR processes, including recruitment, hiring, successful on-boarding and training, employee relations, performance management, absence & sickness review (including Occupational Health), managing employee benefits and engagement programmes, disciplinary processes, salary reviews and associated reporting.

* You will implement and monitor appropriate HR systems to support business needs and implement appropriate HR policies and procedures.

* Provide training and support to line Managers regarding HR policies and procedures.

* Manage staff handbooks, recruitment procedures, staff benefits and disciplinary procedures.

* Support Managers with investigations, disciplinary procedures and grievances, ensuring all procedures are followed.

* Manage administration of payroll, holiday entitlement and related queries.

* Provide advice, manage change, restructuring and redeployment where necessary.

The Candidate

* An ambitious hands-on HR Officer, passionate about people, looking for an opportunity to make a difference to a people oriented business.

* An understanding of the HR issues involved in a business with a large number of employees.

* Proven experience as an HR Officer or similar, in a fast paced environment.

* A commercially minded and experienced HR Generalist.

* Able to demonstrate a flexible in approach, build relationships quickly and drive the HR process.

* Preferably a HR Graduate or candidate with CIPD qualifications (Level 5 ideally)

* Capable of developing skills to enable support of more complex case work supporting HR Manager.

* Adaptable, approachable, flexible and committed to achieving objectives and customers satisfaction.

* Listening skills and the ability to manage conflict.

* Results driven and focussed on the business.

* Excellent communication skills.

* Must have good IT skills including Microsoft Outlook & Office.
