HR Coordinator - Dudley MBC

I am currently recruiting for a HR Coordinator within the educational setting of Dudley MBC.
37 Hours Per Week - GBP14 per hour LTD rate of pay
Key Duties:
Assist in providing a professional solution focused HR Transactional Administration Service across the Council. Providing advice and support to managers and employees on HR transactional related matters including schools. Provide day-to-day support to HR administrative staff. Supervision of allocated staff as directed by the Senior Co-ordinator & Team Leader. Working with other Co-ordinators and Team Leaders across Transactional Services in ensuring effective scheduling and allocation of transactional activities including directorate, schools, resourcing and/or pensions transactions.
Specific Accountabilities
*Co-ordination of processing all Council and school vacancies in line with approval clearance processes within stipulated deadlines.
*Co-ordination of advertising campaigns and participation in relevant recruitment drives, positive action campaigns across the Council and Schools.
*Responsibility for obtaining and monitoring external advertising costs, liaison with advertising providers.
*Responsible for monitoring the progression of vacancies and recruitment turn-around-times.
*Advising recruiting managers on options available during the recruitment & selection process e.g. use of occupational assessment testing.
*Ensuring accurate transition of successful applicant details from Recruitment Self Service through to the HR/Payroll systems.
*To support the implementation of projects e.g. TalentLink as required in line with role.
*Oversee the exit monitoring process, including analysis of exit questionnaire data and undertaking routine telephone exit interviews.
*Providing advice to managers on probationary procedures and monitoring agreed extensions and issuing correspondence as required.
*Provide advice to both staff and managers on the interpretation of the Council's HR Policies and Procedures, e.g. Recruitment & Selection, Retirement, Redeployment, Equality and Diversity, payroll, pensions at the appropriate level.
*Provide advice and interpretation on terms and conditions of employment in accordance with National/Local Agreements and in relation to Employment legislation.
