Office Angels currently have a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced Fundraising Manager to join a North East Charity on a 10 month fixed term contract.

This is a part-time role working 22.5 hours per week and will be mainly based working from home, therefore our client is able to consider suitable candidates based anywhere in the UK (occasional travel to Newcastle will be required once restrictions are lifted).

We are looking for an experienced and energetic Fundraising and Communications Manager to lead our clients fundraising and communications efforts.

You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record in achieving fundraising targets and securing donations from a diverse range of sources alongside leading on fundraising growth, helping to support a new five-year strategy across the organisation.

Duties will also include but are not limited to:

Day to day management of fundraising and communications staff and volunteers to achieve individual targets
Lead on implementation of new fundraising income strategy and action plan to increase income
Lead on implementation of new marketing and communications strategic plan
Lead on promoting the brand and marketing our services to increase reach
Working to and achieving annual set funding targets within set budgets
Lead the stewardship of the Charities donors and supporters across a diverse portfolio of fundraising activities
Manage relationships with major, regular and potential donors and funders demonstrating the link between their gifts and charity's beneficiaries
Develop innovative new income streams for the fundraising team to reflect donor interests and needs of charity's beneficiaries
Lead donor segmentation and analysis work to develop effective fundraising activities
Establish and maintain relationships with patrons and celebrity supporters
Ensure delivery of agreed action plans, and track and report progress to the Leadership Team and Board of Trustees
Lead portfolio of innovative, fundraising activities and approaches to include but not limited to legacies, major donors, appeals, events and regular giving
Copy writing for proposals, advertising, website, marketing materials and press releases for approval by Leadership Team
To lead team meetings, individual supervision sessions and annual appraisals of Fundraising and Communications Team, and support team's individual training and development plans
Continuous improvement of fundraising's quality and efficiency
Oversee management and effectiveness of the charity's donor database
Ensure fundraising activities are legal and consistent with the Fundraising Regulator and are compliant with all major legislation including GDPR, Data ProtectionThe successful candidate will have previous experience within a similar position having achieved fundraising targets and led a successful fundraising team.
