Berry Recruitment are looking for an Inventory & SOP Manager for our client based in Ashby-De-La-Zouch.

As a leading global Logistics and Supply Chain business, our client offers forward and future thinking solutions to various customers, with huge initiatives to reduce carbon footprint.

As the Inventory and SOP Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a stock control team, managing inventory and customer orders.

This role is both office and warehouse based, working full time Mondays-Fridays.

Key Responsibilities include:

Managing performance, absence reviews and overtime requirements within the team
Conducting team briefings at the beginning of each shift
Training and developing staff in line with customer and client requirements
Compiling and completing monthly reports, and performing tasks within WMS to maintain correct inventory levels
Be the first point of contact for escalation in the stock control team, ensuring stock discrepancies are dealt with punctually and escalated where necessary
Batch reconciliations, and traceability
Managing changes within the business
Compliance with all procedures to ensure a safe site

The ideal candidate will:

Have strong presentation and communication ability
Excellent attention to detail, and strong numerical and analytic skills
Have demonstrable time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and remain adaptable under pressure
Encourage teamwork, and have the ability to develop good working relationships
Have sound knowledge of warehouse operations and planning functions
Have previous experience in a similar role
You will be working in a new, purpose built warehouse, which is a very clean and quiet environment.
