Are you an experienced HR Assistant looking for a new challenge?
We have a great opportunity available for a suitably experienced HR Assistant to join our team based in Corby. You will join us on a full-time, fixed term basis for 6 months initially, however there could be an opportunity for this to be extended or even made permanent. As one of our HR Assistants you will be required to deliver a professional and efficient HR Administration service to the Operational site, working as part of the HR Team.
Responsibilities of our HR Assistant will include:
- Delivering a professional HR administration service to Site Operations and the HR Team
- Working closely with the HR Advisor & Business Partner in ensuring that all administrative aspects are managed efficiently and professionally
- Providing administration support for people processes including new starters, leavers, employee changes, employee relations processes, Reward & Benefits
- Ensuring that Managers are aware of and adhere to the Company policies and procedures effectively, treating employees fairly, in line with best practice and legislative requirements whilst meeting business need.
- Making recommendations for improvements in processes and practices.
- Providing guidance and counsel for all colleagues under the guidance of the HR Advisor and HR Business Partner.
- Processing absence notifications, medical notes and other administration relating to employee absence. Support with keeping absence within Company targets
- Working with managers to ensure the Return To Work process is followed after any period of absence
- Updating and processing the T&A payroll for the sites
- Responding to employee and financial reference requests
- Supporting with colleague communications including updating communication zones and colleague notice boards.
- Coordinating of the Colleague of the month / week including procedures, write ups, photographs, issuing certificates and vouchers
- Coordinating the recruitment and onboarding process for specified vacancies
- Contributing to ad hoc projects as part of the HR Team
- Maintaining and updating Organisation charts, HR Team SharePoint and electronic filing systems.
