Business Advisor

If you have set up and run your own business before, you tend to find the whole business start-up thing fascinating. Having done it yourself, you are probably advising friends and family on how to do it, or, you might have even coached business owners or starts up in the past, and love watching things develop from scratch.

We are recruiting for a number of positions for a new specialist government backed contract which helps people who either want to set up on their own and have a business idea. Or are at that fledgling state and need a little help. The people you are supporting will be referred via DWP, and will be utilising universal credit at present. Your aim is to coach and mentor them to become independent and create a sustainable business. Mostly home based, you will deliver one to one sessions with people that include reviewing business ideas, assessing cash flow, and helping people to create a business plan. You will then coach and mentor them to be successful over a set period of time. Business might range from self-employed cleaners, cake making, online retail sales via amazon or dog walking.
