Role Details 

Our client has a number of exciting vacancies for experienced Software Developers / Engineers to support their tech team with integrating new services (applications and infrastructure) into their existing portfolio, modernising legacy platforms and enabling their move to the cloud. The role collaborates closely with both tech and business colleagues across a variety of requirements & workstreams. 

 

Objectives: 

  • Scoping & creating integrated solutions as part of a focused delivery team operating Scrum. 
  • Interacting with colleagues, stakeholders and vendors across various projects & work streams. 
  • Keeping up with trends around current & new technologies and proposing new approaches where opportunities lie. 

 

 

Who our client is looking for: 

Essential: 

  • Competent programmer 
  • Experience as a software developer or application integration specialist. 
  • Understands software testing processes 
  • Excellent analytical, communication & team working skills 
  • Good time management skills with the ability to cope with changing priorities 
  • Builds a collaborative working relationship with various internal and external stakeholders 
  • Enthusiasm for new technologies and how they can be harnessed to drive business outcomes 
  • Someone who will live CMI’s values, professional, passionate, progressive and practical 
  • Confident to ask questions - over the phone, email or face to face (as necessary)

Desirable: 

  • Commercial Programming experience in a similar organisation or sector.
  • Ideally hold a qualification in a computing-related subject.
