My client who are a market leader within the fire and security industry are currently looking to bring in sales support due to continued growth. Therefore they are looking for a Bid Coordinator to support their current Bid Manager.

Key Duties:

* To support on the tender process and pre-qualifications (PQQ's), tendering and commercial proposals for current and potential customers.

* You will write/edit quality proposal responses in accordance with our company narrative.

* The successful candidate will ensure that all proposals are formatted correctly.

* Ability to thoroughly proof-read all documentation.

* Managing Tender emails, portals and websites, registering interest and downloading relevant documents.

* Uploading tender documents and ensuring that bids and tenders are submitted with the correct information.

* Working with a variety of stakeholders typically involving BDMs, Sales Consultants, and/or Estimator, ensuring the timely submission of tenders and other proposals.

* Maintaining an awareness of contracts due for tender and taking responsibility for acquiring pre-qualification questionnaire and tender documentation.

* Updating and maintaining accreditation portals i.e., Safe Contractor and Construction online.

* Providing general administrative support to the business development teams, as required.

Key Experience/qualifications:

* Experience within a bid/sales environment- this could be in administration or a more senior role

* Ideally - Business Administration NVQ Level 3 or equivalent

* Knowledge of regulatory standard ISO9001 for Quality Management Systems (desired)

* Have strong attention to detail, with the ability to navigate tender documents and understand customer requirements.

* Excellent organisation skills.

* Good IT skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office packages - Word, Excel and Outlook

* Working hours: Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm
