Assistant Accountant
GBP24,000 - GBP30,000 + Competitive Benefits

Six Month Fixed Term Contract - 30-35 Hours per week
Home based at present, when restrictions are lifted 2 days office / 3 days WFH
I am currently working in partnership with a dynamic fast paced growing company. Working in a tenured motivated talented finance team, you will report to the inspirational Head of Financial Reporting. The finance team are central to the operations of business and you will work collectively with the team to achieve operational objectives and deliver a high quality service to the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Monitoring cash position, completing daily cash reconciliations and monthly postings to the general ledger.
* Supporting month end revenue and expense postings.
* Reconciling and analysing balance sheet accounts on a regular basis.
* Reconciling and posting intercompany and intra-group transactions and preparing supporting documentation.
* Supporting the preparation of regulatory returns.
* Supporting the preparation of corporation tax computations.
Person specification:
* A minimum of two years accountancy experience
* Advanced Excel and Word skills.
* Experience of working in a financial accounting role, ideally within a large organisation.
