Air Handling Unit Assembler

The hours are Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:30 = 40 hours

Overtime is paid at 1.5 times the basic after 40 hours have been worked.

The wage rate is starting at minimum wage depending on experience rising to £ 10.00 per hour.

Assemblers perform tasks that are necessary to the production process. They are tasked with assembling our Air Handling Units, putting manufactured items and large components together to form our Air Handling Units. They must also maintain a tidy work area and follow detailed instructions in order to meet safety and quality requirements.

Assemblers must have an aptitude for mechanics and an eye for detail. Their function is to ensure that all parts and products under their care are correct and that the Air Handling Unit is assembled correctly and to the required standard in accordance with the engineering drawings.

The day to day tasks of Assemblers will most often include working with a variety of tools and machinery in conjunction with other operatives. Additional training may be given in order to help Assemblers understand industry processes and standards.

The ability to follow detailed verbal or written instructions, as well as diagrams, drawings, and other technical documents is a critical part of Assembly. Assemblers should also be team players who are willing to work with those in their assigned lines or groups.
