Senior Domestic Violence Practitioner
Key Responsibilities
1. Service Co-ordination. This includes overseeing staff and the management of resources to enable services to function efficiently and effectively.
2. Service Development. This includes understanding the needs of service users and improving services to meet those needs and promoting the service to potential users. Service Delivery. This includes working alongside the Specialist Team Leader and work colleagues to deliver support services to specialist service users and acting as MARAC lead.
3.General. This includes all duties that ensure the safety, and effectiveness of the team together .
Duties .
1. To assist in the co-ordination of activities for service users, including a service user's forum. •
2.Oversee MARAC referrals including the preparation of IDVA team cases at MARAC and participate in MARAC rota.
3. Oversee representation at SDVC.
4. Support the High Risk/Specialist Services Team Leader in the induction of new team members
5.Undertake case management on a regular basis
