Our Client is the leading nationwide integrated waste management business providing collecting, treatment, recycling and technology-driven energy generation services.
Job Purpose:
Working under the direction of the Business Manager and Workshop Foreman for the planning, control and maintenance of vehicles, plant and equipment.
Job Type: Full-time - Permanent. (NOT AGENCY)
Salary: 35k (including shift allowance)
*Overtime available + shift allowance*
Hours: Mon - Friday, 45 hours.
Split Shift pattern.
Early Shift: 6 am - 3 pm
Late Shift: 1 pm - 10 pm
Location: Leicester
Required experience:
* HGV Mechanic: 2 years
* Required licence or certification:
* Full UK Driving Licence

* Appropriate technical qualifications.
* MOT preparation

* Excellent understanding of vehicle maintenance requirements and procedures.
* Effective verbal and written skills, coupled with strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
* Experience as a mechanic in a commercial vehicle environment.
