Staffline is currently recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers for our client based in Fradley Park, near Lichfield.
PAYE rates of pay for the role of LGV1 driver are as follows:
Monday to Friday Days - GBP12.79 per hour
Monday to Friday Nights (22:00 - 06:00) - GBP15.99 per hour
Saturdays - GBP15.99 per hour
Sundays - GBP15.99 per hour
Bank Holiday Days - GBP19.19 per hour
Bank Holiday Nights (22:00 - 06:00) - GBP22.38 per hour
Overtime Days - GBP19.19 per hour after 42.5 hours worked
Overtime Nights or Weekend - GBP22.38 per hour after 42.5 hours worked
We are delighted to offer full time regular ongoing work with 5 shifts a week, with the start times between 11AM and 7PM across 7 days a week. Regular weekend work available too.
Our client created a COVID secure workplace, making work environments as safe as possible for people returning to work and wearing face masks on site is mandatory.
Please also contact us to discuss our new, entirely optional, alternative arrangement, where a driver would receive a payment in lieu of holiday accrued, which is paid weekly as you work, rather than holiday pay being accrued to be taken at a later date.
If you chose this option, you must still follow the standard holiday processes in respect of booking periods of time off from work and are and will be actively encouraged to take appropriate time off each year.
Your Time at Work
As an HGV 1 driver, the work will involve Class 1 depot delivery, to deliver our customers palletised and caged goods using a LGV, Tail-lift and Pallet truck, as store deliveries in the Midlands area. In return for your commitment we can offer regular shifts all year round. Part time HGV drivers are welcome to apply. Regular weekend work available.
We have other sites locally that work will be available at if for any reasons shifts are not available.
Our Perfect Worker
As an experienced LGV1 driver, you will ideally have -
No more than 6 points
Digi card and DCPC
Interviews will be held immediately.
