Administrator (Temporary)
INTRODUCTION
OSR is currently recruiting on behalf of a successful global manufacturer based in Ipswich. My client is looking for an experienced Administrator to join their dedicated team on a temporary basis. There are two positions available:
Position 1: Purely administrative, 3 month contract
Position 2: Combination of administration and telephone work, 6 month contract.
THE COMPANY
My client is a leading multi-industry global company whose UK base is growing to meet global demand. They are looking for an experienced administrator to join their hard-working team on a temporary basis.
THE ROLE
There are a couple of positions available; one is more administrative based (3 month contract) and one position is a combination of administration and liaising with clients and customers on the telephone (6 month contract).
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Raising purchase orders
* Creating order packs
* Ensuring the smooth running of the departments administration
* Keeping the internal systems up-to-date with status of various items
* Working alongside team members to deliver a smooth running service
* Liaising with clients and customers over the telephone (if going for the combination role)
REQUIRED SKILLS
* IT literate, particularly in Excel
* Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
* Able to operate on own initiative, manage workloads to meet multiple deadlines
* System used on-site is 'Oracle'; so experience in this is desirable but not essential
* Strong communication skills over the telephone
SALARY AND HOURS
* GBP10 - GBP12 per hour (depending on experience and role )
* Week 1: Monday - Friday.
Week 2: Monday - Thursday.
* 8.15am - 17.00pm (14.45pm finish on a Friday)
