Full Time - Permanent
Starting Salary GBP PA + bonuses
Pertemps have an exciting, unique opportunity for an experienced Head Chef to join our client, a renowned Leisure Club, based in Cowes on a permanent basis. Our client offers a fun, varied yet dynamic work environment where no two days are the same.
We are looking for a dedicated and highly motivated individual to run a busy kitchen on a day to day basis, who displays positive leadership by communicating effectively to their team. The successful applicant will have recent experience working in a similar environment and be confident in running service during peak busy times whilst maintaining a professional and calm demeanour.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Full control and ability to lead, develop and inspire the kitchen team
- Ensuring there is a seamless link between the kitchen and the front of house team
- Department stock control including; ordering, rotation and wastage
- Working on ?? la carte menu.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold previous experience of working within a similar environment at a 2 rosette level.
- Be financially aware of costings menus and managing food cost.
- Looking for the next important step within their career.
The successful applicant will possess the necessary industry qualifications and be available to start ASAP with the desire to hit the ground running. The shifts for this particular vacancy will vary as the kitchen is open 7 days per week; therefore an element of flexibility will be essential.
