Delivery Driver - Haltwhistle
Delivery Driver - PCS Logistic Partners is searching for Delivery Drivers to deliver small parcels to domestic addresses across the local area. This is a great opportunity to work within a proactive team where you will benefit from 'being your own boss' as a professional Delivery Driver with 'key worker' status.

In return for providing high levels of customer service we can offer stable and ongoing work and opportunities for career progression.
Key Duties:
Upon collection all the parcels will have been pre-sorted and will be ready to be loaded and delivered - drivers will benefit from having pre-planned routes which are pre-programmed into a sat nav system each morning. You will deliver the parcels whilst providing excellent levels of customer service.
Any undelivered parcels will be returned to the depot by a member of our team meaning you will not be required to return to the depot at the end of the shift.
What is on offer:
Hours - working days are planned to 9 hours; this includes loading time, travel time and break time. Your working day finishes when you complete your route.
Van Hire Available - a short wheelbase van can be provided at a cost of GBP100 per week (van only) or GBP195 per week for a van with all the necessary courier insurances.
Owner Drivers - it is possible to provide your own van.
Mileage Paid / Fuel Card - all business mileage is paid for by the company plus a company fuel card is available.
Paid Training - structured training is provided to all new starters.
Salary & Bonus - the salary is GBP114 a day; the average basic wage is GBP2,280 to GBP2,700 a month. There is a preformance related bonus scheme which earns most drivers an extra GBP200 a month (potential of GBP500).
Self Employed - we partner with a professional accountancy company who can assist you in registering for self-employment and process your self-assessment tax and VAT returns on your behalf.
Immediate Starts - Immediate starts are available following completion of training.
Requirements:
We are looking for individuals with a minimum age of 25, you must hold a Driving Licence (6 points or less) and be able to pass a drug and alcohol test. NO upfront costs are incurred if you take advantage of the van hire scheme and we do not charge for drug and alcohol tests.
