Children's Residential Care Home Manager
Bright Selection is delighted to represent an established and innovative provider of children's residential care and education in their appointment of a Registered Manager a children's home in the Stafford area.
Our client is a well regarded provider that is experienced in delivering good outcomes for children in a therapeutic setting where staff are well trained and supported to be able help children living at the home to grow, learn and make positive choices about their lives.
Requirements
Proven experience in a managerial role within a residential setting
Working with young people with challenging behaviors and emotional difficulties
Level 5 Management and leadership award
Commitment to and experience in working therapeutically
Desire to support and motivate young people in undertaking education/training and fulfilling their full potential
Experience in developing support and care teams to deliver good outcomes for all children living at the home
Responsibilities
Management of care and support team
Ensuring OFSTED compliance
Work with external stakeholders, MDT and commissioners
Reporting to Regional Manager
Develop service and team to best support children in their attainment of independent living skills
Ensure all administration completed in line with regulation including care plans and reviews etc
