We are working with a growing software house in the UK who are searching for a new technical consultant to join the team. The client provides investigation software that is used to sift through financial data, monitor for criminal activities and even provide covert surveillance. The client has ambitions to expand the current service into new markets and your role will help the company in achieving that objective.
You will be joining a small team of consultants who are responsible for building out and implementing these solutions for the variety of customers. You will typically be working on 2/3 projects at once and as part of those you will be responsible for working with a business process specialist who will create a work flow based on the customers requirements.
You will then take these work flows and work on building out the solution to suit the clients needs. You will build out the databases, load the data, test and trial the solution before finally implementing it for the customer. Most of the customers are currently using an on-premises service, so the implementation will require you to travel to customer sites, but this is not a regular occurrence.
As the company continues to expand, they are looking to move more into cloud offerings, and you will get a fantastic opportunity to move into an Azure, Dev Ops and IaaS world.
This is a great opportunity for someone with an Oracle applications background that wants to move more into implementation, with a longer-term objective of growing your own skills within cloud technologies.
