Established Scottish Software House - they have created a market leading SaaS Product with an array of modern technologies. They are looking for a Skilled PHP Developer ideally with several years of relevant commercial experience (bonus points for microservices expertise) to join their growing team in Glasgow City Centre.
The company are going through a large digital transformation; they have already shed their 'Start-Up' skin and aiming to become a force to be reckoned with, not just in Glasgow but across the globe. They have become the market leader for their product in the UK and are now looking to expand into new areas.
To help with their plans of global domination, they are looking for a skilled Software Developer to join the company and help push the platform to the next level. You will ideally have several years of experience within commercial Software Development (using modern PHP) and feel comfortable developing large-scale applications / products. Massive bonus points go to anyone that has Microservices experience - as this will be a strong focus in the role going forward.
You will be joining a close-knit team made up of roughly 6 Software Developers, however they are planning to significantly grow the team over the next 12-24 months (they have recently moved offices to a much larger space).
You will ideally have experience with most of the following;
** PHP Skills (ideally Symfony or Laravel)
** Microservices
** Software Architecture
** AWS
The team work with a range of modern technologies and are always keen to stick with the latest trends. Culture is really important to the them; they really value solid communicators who can solve problems and enjoy learning on the job.
The company are based in Glasgow City Centre, walking distance from both Queen Street & Central Station. When things go back to the "new normal" they will be offering a blended approach between working from home and in the office (this was actually on offer prior Covid).
For this role they are offering the company are offering a salary from GBP35k to GBP55k (obviously dependent on experience) + a list of benefits to match.
