Expleo are currently supporting a client based in Turkey in the development of a new fixed wing aircraft, as part of this support we are looking for a Testability Engineer. Candidates will have extensive experience of off-board systems design and development within military aircraft development.

This will be an initial 12 month fixed term contract based at our client's facility just outside Ankara, Turkey. The rate/salary will be dependant on the individual's skills and experience. Due to Turkish employment regulations successful candidates will have to enter the Turkish tax system.

Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be nationals of NATO countries and must be eligible to obtain their national security clearance. We are unable to process applications from candidates outside of the NATO member states.

Role Definition:

Responsible for governance of off-board systems design and development activities and coordination with overall aircraft design to have a proper interface.

Key Activities:

Carry out off-board systems design and development activities
Identify off-board systems requirements and conducting requirement management activities.
Define and manage the overall mission planning and debriefing philosophy.
Perform Off-Board Mission Planning & Debriefing System (OBMPDS) HW architecture and SW algorithm development with overall technical specification & functional allocation activities.
Manage OBMPDS design activities in line with the project schedule.
Provide support for OBMPDS off-load monitoring and management activities.
Perform modelling and simulation activities for OBMPDS.
Prepare engineering documentation for OBMPDS i.e. technical reports etc.
Define and manage the overall health management (diagnostics & prognostics) philosophy.
Perform Off-Board Health Monitoring & Management System (OBHMMS) HW architecture and SW algorithm development with overall functional allocation & interface definition activities.
Manage OBHMMS design activities in line with the project schedule.
Provide support for OBHMMS off-load monitoring and management activities.
Perform modelling and simulation activities for OBHMMS.
Prepare engineering documentation for OBHMMS i.e. technical reports etc.
Prognostics: (Prediction of future failure)
Condition monitoring: (Monitoring of real time performance degradation)
Life & usage monitoring: (In the scope of the continuing airworthiness of the aircraft tracking the life and usage limited components)
Consumable: (tracking the level of consumables)
Work Scope: Working on producing above data types based on the components/system data transferred from the aircraft to ground station and ensuring integration to failure reporting and corrective action system
