Expleo are currently supporting a client based in Turkey in the development of a new fixed wing aircraft, as part of this support we are looking for a Supportability/LSA Engineer. Candidates will have extensive experience of Logistic Support Analysis ideally within military aircraft development but we will consider candidates from the wider aerospace industry.

This will be an initial 12 month fixed term contract based at our client's facility just outside Ankara, Turkey. The rate/salary will be dependant on the individual's skills and experience. Due to Turkish employment regulations successful candidates will have to enter the Turkish tax system.

Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be nationals of NATO countries and must be eligible to obtain their national security clearance. We are unable to process applications from candidates outside of the NATO member states.

Role Definition:

A professional practitioner who possesses the knowledge and demonstrated skills required for successful application of scientific and mathematical principles quantitative and qualitative analysis and deductive reasoning to develop and implement solutions to practical problems in the discipline of supportability engineering.

Key Activities:

Generate Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) Plan which includes information regarding LSA strategy selection criteria for LSA relevant data Logistics Breakdown Structure Management LSA tailoring and analyses such as Logistics Related Operational Analysis LSA related FMECA Damage & Special Event Analysis Level of Repair Analysis Maintenance Task Analysis Software Supportability Analysis.
Generate Program specific LSA work instructions/guidelines in line with LSA standards (such as ASD S3000L MIL-STD-1388-1A & 2B DEF-STAN-00-60)
Develop and update LSAR database
Experience on Eagle is preferred
Work with design teams to influence design and ensure the supportability
Know System Engineering processes and tools so that LSA process in line with system engineering activities.
Tailor LSA tasks based on new design program needs and perform them in a timely manner.
Modelling LPD (Logistics Product Data) which captures information related to system mission and usage logistics design requirements reliability and maintainability system safety maintenance engineering support and test equipment training and training devices manpower and skills facilities transportation supply support packaging and cost of ownership
Preparation of LPD Summary Reports (includes Personnel Maintenance Tools Support Equipment Facilities Spares and Repair Parts Management Transportability estimations)
