EXCITING NEW POSITION WITHIN THE BUSINESS
My clients, who are a leader in the manufacturing industry are looking for a Digital Print Production Planning Supervisor to join their team, this role is based in the office and shop floor managing a small team of 10. (soon to increase by customer demand in production)
The position will be reporting directly into the Sales Director and they are looking for someone who prides themselves on working to tight deadlines and can work accurately. The position itself will be to plan the daily production schedule for the Print Production of all products onto selected products and to managed and plan resources needed to deliver these daily plans to hit productivity targets.
Key Duties:
You will plan and prepare production schedules, place purchase orders for the manufacture and print of commercial products.
Draw up a daily schedule job sheets to establish sequence and lead time of each production to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.
Manage the customer service teams and seamstresses deadlines.
Exceptional communication skills are essential as you will communicate across various departments.
We also need your customer service skills as you will manage customer expectations on product lead times.
Part of the role involves liaising with couriers, booking in deliveries and advising customers of delivery.
You will prepare and manage production reports.
You will collate all sales orders and forecasts to assist the material schedulers in their job to adjust the plans according to material constraints.
Using a MRP systems you will enter in all production requirements.
Work in partnership with the material schedulers to ensure the line runs smoothly.
You will provide updates to your management team regarding orders v forecasts, issues and any other KPI's.
Working closely with the production teams to make sure the plan is maintained and amended regularly.
The role requires the highest possible level of customer service, as the satisfaction of their clients is the number-one priority.
