Job Title: Radio Service Engineer
Location: Blackburn, Lancashire
Salary: Negotiable DOE plus vehicle plus benefits
My client has an immediate requirement for a Radio Service Engineer at their site in Blackburn. The successful Radio Service Engineer will travel to customer sites carrying out the installation, service, maintenance and repair of customer radio equipment.
NEGOTIABLE SALARY DEPENDING ON SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE, COMPANY VEHICLE, MOBILE PHONE, 25 DAYS HOLIDAY PLUS BANK HOLIDAYS, PENSION SCHEME. UNIFORM AND PPE PROVIDED.
Radio Service Engineer Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the programming of radio equipment on hire and sale.
- Travel to customer sites and carry out the installation of the company equipment.
- Test equipment to ensure it is in working order.
- Respond to customer requests for the maintenance and repair of equipment.
- Carry out site surveys for the installation of new equipment.
Radio Service Engineer Requirements:
- My client will consider applications from candidates who are willing to be trained in radio with electronics or I.T.
- Radio/IP Networking experience - advantageous.
- RF knowledge - desirable.
- Able to work at heights.
- IT literate.
- Hold a clean driving licence.
