At a time of expansion RESPONSE is seeking a new trustee who has a passion for mental health services and enhancing the lives of vulnerable people. For over 50 years, RESPONSE has been pioneering services that Enable more people of all ages to live a fulfilled life through mental wellbeing support and services. We have grown significantly in the last five years and now support in excess of 400 people of all ages on their journey to recovery and wellbeing over West Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire (BOB).
RESPONSE is looking for a Trustee with experience in a clinical or support background with adults who have mental health issues. They will contribute to and ensure the effective delivery of the emerging strategy. A genuine interest and commitment to the organisation's Mission, Values and Strategic Goals is essential as well as knowledge or a willingness to develop an understanding of compliance, risk management and control of processes.
As a large charity with energy and ambition, we need Trustees who are able to invest a suitable amount of time, on a flexible basis, each month. As a guide to the kind of time commitment required, the Trustees could be investing around 6 hours a month to RESPONSE (in addition to the formal board meetings, which take place bi-monthly).
With a substantial and ever growing housing portfolio, nearly 250 staff, robust NHS and Council contracts and turnover nearing GBP10m we're now well-placed to deliver future growth and even more vital life-changing services to both young people and adults.
