Job Title: Warehouse/Factory Operative(s)
Salary: GBP8.91 per hour, overtime at Time and Half - NEW YEAR STARTS
Location: Scunthorpe
Job Type: Temp &Temp to Perm
Hours & Days of work: Monday to Friday, Days - 0645 starts
An exciting opportunity to work for one of the largest furniture manufacturers in the UK, the site is over 5.5 acres and is probably the one-site operation of its kind in the country.
They have a dedicated work force coupled with a strong forward-thinking management.
Our client works closely with supply chains to create bespoke furniture for their customer base to ensure they get the best quality designs.
The Role:
Responsibilities of the Warehouse/Factory Jobs in Scunthorpe:
?? Working as a team member in an exciting fast pace warehouse with multiple departments
?? Helping to ensure efficient and smooth running of the department
?? Achieve the targets and job standards set out by supervisors/managers
?? Potentially in the cushion department whereby you will be required to fill cushion covers (repetitive)
?? Checking moving, palletising, picking or packing products
?? Use hand tools, power tools etc
?? Loading, unloading and moving products around the warehouse (physically demanding)
?? Adhere to the companies Health & Safety Policy
The Person Specification:
Attitudes & Qualities:
?? Hardworking
?? Keen to develop and improve your skills
?? Must be physically fit due to the nature of the role
?? Able to work as a team member
?? Ability to organise workload independently and use own initiative
?? Good standard of general administrative support
?? Good standard of education required, including Maths, English & IT
?? Strong communication skills
