Ashley Kate are pleased to be supporting our manufacturing client based in Dumfries, who are looking for a temporary Financial Accountant Treasury for 6 to 9 months as the company restructures its team.
This function supports the non-trader and treasury entities.
Regular activities include:
-Maintain non trading entity accounts on exchequer excel oracle
-Track and process intercompany loan statements
-Mthly forecast & budget preparation
-Preparation of monthly business forecasts
-Detailed bridge analysis to explain variances to budget and forecast
-Support statutory accounts preparation
-Support internal and external audit preparation
-VAT preparation and submission to HMRC
-Assist local finance team with trading entity where required
-Strong Excel
In addition, you will need to be ACCA qualified. Must have relevant Accounting experience / knowledge including Statutory reporting and FRS 102.
The role is full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.30pm and Friday 8.00am to 2.00pm.
Pay rate is between GBP18ph and GBP20ph.
This role is on-site working, the client operates a manufacturing function and all interviews and working will be required on-site.
