Due to expansion a new position is available for a Freight Accounts Assistant, our client are an established, rapidly expanding Heathrow Forwarding agent. The successful candidate will have freight accounts experience to be considered.

Position Overview:

The Accounts Assistant, is responsible for cash management, reporting, online payments, Bank debit and credit monitoring and notification, Bank reconciliations, customs deferment, AR and AP high level support.

What You Will Be Doing Day-to-Day:

* Bank account management

* Bank reconciliations

* Cash reporting

* Online banking payment productions

* Bank Debit and Credit monitoring and notification to relevant team mates

* Customs deferment management

* AR and AP high level support where required

* Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as business demands deem necessary

Other Skills We Hope to See:

* 3+ years' work experience in accounting and knowledge of bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, accounts payable and general accounting procedures.

* Experience in Business online banking.

* Knowledge and experience of freight forwarding accounting.

* Ability to effectively communicate in an oral and written manner with professionalism while conducting oneself according to policy. Proper grammar, spelling etc. should be reviewed prior to sending written communication.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CargoWise,

* European language skill advantageous (German or Italian)
