THE ROLE

Due to continued growth and expansion, we are looking for experienced and self-motivated individuals from the commercial sales sector, that are interested in building long lasting customer relationships and sustainable solutions within the agriculture industry. Our focus on consultative sales approach leads informative conversations into sales in an organic manner. Understanding the agronomy industry is not essential for the position as we provide a comprehensive induction training and continuous learning and qualifications within the role.

As a charismatic and independent sales professional, you will utilise your skills, knowledge and experience in the world of commercial sales. Identifying potential sales opportunities by building meaningful relationships with local farmers with the support and guidance from regional sales managers and in partnership with well-known distributors within the sector.

REGION - Bude, Bodmin, Launceston, Liskeard, Okehampton (please note that applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and these locations will be subject to availability).

*This is a field-based role and will require daily travel through your territory which spans one hour from end to end*

RESPONSIBILITES

?? To achieve sales of our Unique & Enhanced Product Range in Fertilisers, Soil Conditioners and Animal Nutrition/ Welfare Solutions to Farmers and Growers through local distribution channels

?? Seek, develop and maintain regular and continuous relationships with distributors and key players within the local farming community

?? Use existing customer/market data to develop 'out of the box' sales strategies

?? Successful closure of sale using various customer services/ sales methods (networking, knowledge building, prospecting etc.)

?? Active understanding of planning activity and pipeline management using our CRM system (Salesforce)

?? Participation in team training activities or collaborative efforts and team working events

ABOUT YOU

As a successful candidate you will have;

?? Minimum 4 years' continuous work experience (Desirable)

?? Quantifiable results in field-based sales roles (B2B and/or B2C)

?? Desire to complete FACTs (Fertiliser Advisers Certification and Training) qualification within the first year of employment

?? Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

?? Confidence to target prospective clients and begin cold calling on the field via face to face and phone calls.

?? Great organisational, planning and problem-solving capabilities

?? Self-motivated and driven with a desire to succeed

?? Experience of using a CRM

?? A full, clean UK Driving License (Manual)
