MECHANICAL FITTER
This well established and thriving company is looking for a confident Mechanical Fitter/Fabricator to be part of their successful team at their Mansfield based Office.
The role offers an attractive rate of GBP12.67 to GBP13.67 dependent on experience plus benefits and offers a varied and busy workshop and site based workload. The Mechanical Fitter will require a proactive attitude with experience of working in a fast-paced environment and have experience of stainless steel fabrication and ideally Tig welding with a willingness to work on site.

THE OPPORTUNITY
The Mechanical Fitter will be responsible for providing support throughout this busy, vibrant business.
Core duties:
* Working from engineering drawings to fabricate stainless steel conveyor systems and associated equipment
* Working with welding equipment and guillotines
* Sheet metal work
* Fitting and assembly
* Installation on customer sites
THE PERSON
The successful candidates will be a well organised, self-driven individual with a good work ethic and a desire to work in a busy working environment. A flair for attention to detail is required with the drive to exceed team-wide targets.
You will also be:
* Apprentice trained (or equivalent) with a recognised qualification in Fabrication desirable
* Able to work under pressure.
* Willing to work on site with overnight stays where required
* Able to weld (Tig) and solve problems.
* Able to fabricate stainless steel
* Able to deal with colleagues and customers in a fair and diplomatic way and offer guidance and support where needed.
* Able and willing to understand and follow Company procedures, policies and management systems.
* A good team player.
