We are looking for the right person to join us who is enthusiastic, dedicated and has excellent communication skills.
As a Health & Social Care Training Advisor you will play an important role in supporting apprentices through the duration of their qualifications, helping them to successfully complete their course requirements.
Guided by the Performance & Complaince Manager and the Quality and Curriculum Manager you will support a caseload of 50-60 learners (pro-rata) based in Care and Domiciliary settings to progress towards the Level 2, 3 and 5 Health & Social Care Standards. It will be expected you are able to manage your own caseload and diary effectively, to monitor and report on learner's progress ongoing and to maintain regular contact with learners. You will also be working to meet a set of KPI's which you will be monitored against.
The ideal candiate should be confident and able to deliver functional skills in English and Maths.
The role will involve travel to a variety of care settings, therefore the ideal candiate must hold a full driving licence, with access to a car and must be comfortable in working in different enviroments.
The ideal candiate must:-
Hold a formal assessing qualification A1, TAQA, CAVA, D32, D33
Hold the Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent
Hold minimum Level 2 or equivalent functional skills in Maths and English
Have at least 12 months experience in a senior position within a care setting
Be able to work within a target driven enviroment and to meet tight deadlines
Have good communication and inter-personal skills
Good time management
Be confident working digitally with e-learning and portfolios
A teaching qualification is preferred, PTTLS, DTTLS, PGCE but not essential and recent experience of working with the apprenticeship standard and EPA is desirable, but not essential.

Ensure timely and effective communication with staff, learners and employers to support excellent outcomes for learners
Hours:- 37.5 per week
Salary - GBP23,000-GBP25,000pa depending upon experience.
