Job Title: Brass Polisher
Location: Wolverhampton
Shift time: Rotating Shifts - 06.00 - 14.30 / 13.30 - 22.00 Monday - Friday
Pay Rate: GBP11.19 - GBP12.31 Per hour
Mainstay Recruitment are currently working on behalf of a luxury bathroom and kitchen specialist in the Wolverhampton area, who are currently seeking an experienced Brass Polisher on a long-term permanent basis. As a polisher, you will be responsible for polishing kitchen and bathroom components to high standards.
Main Duties:
* Set and operate polishing machines
* Responsible for the polishing of components to the high-quality standard required by the company.
* Ensure all work is undertaken in accordance with any work instructions / procedures.
* Chrome Mopping as and when required.
* Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are completed as required.
* Report any quality issues / concerns to the team leader.
* Carry out routine maintenance when required.
* Notify the team leader of consumable items that are out of stock.
* Maintain good communications and relationships throughout the company.
* Ensure compliance with company procedures and make suggestions for improvement.
* Ensure compliance with Health and Safety requirements.
* Maintain a clean, safe working environment and good housekeeping standards and ensure 5S standards are maintained.
Candidate Requirements:
* Experience of polishing Brass materials
* Experience of Chrome mopping
* Good communication skills and able to report any issues to team leader
* Good attitude
* Solid work history
* Quality focused
* Attention to detail
* Reliable, hardworking and able to work under pressure
Hours of work:
* Rotating Shifts - 06.00 - 14.30 / 13.30 - 22.00 Monday - Friday
* Pay Rate: GBP11.19 - GBP12.31 Per hour
