A well known Cambridge based client are looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to join them and cover a period of maternity leave. The role will be an FTC of 12 months with the possibility of extension.
Main duties will include:
* Managing a team of people
* Supporting the FC with monthly management accounts
* Discussing budgets with senior finance colleagues
* Monitoring compliance and assisting with audit prep
* Overseeing payroll and tax returns
* Ad-hoc senior finance duties
The successful candidate will have:
* Experience within a similar role
* ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualification
* Good leadership skills
* Strong IT skills
* The ability to work in a fixed term contract
