Remortgage Team Manager
Our client has been providing expert legal services to the residential property market for over 20 years'. A vacancy has arisen for a Remortgage Team Manager to join their hardworking and dedicated conveyancing department.
The ideal candidate will possess demonstrable relevant experience, have a proven track record in the areas required for this role, and possess excellent communication skills. You will also be computer literate and a confident user of Case Management Systems and Microsoft Office.
As a Remortgage Team Manager you will undertake the general management of remortgage supervisors and the team to ensure performance requirements are met as well ensuring things function smoothly on a day-to-day basis.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities:
* Demonstrable relevant experience
* Hold a CILEx qualification
* Proven track record in the areas required for this role
* Possess excellent communication skills
* Have good time management
* Organisational and problem-solving skills
* Computer literate and confident user of Case Management Systems and Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
Qualifications Required (Desirable/Essentials):
* GCSE, or equivalent in Maths and English with a minimum grade C
* A levels, or equivalent, in Maths and English with a minimum grade C
* CLC Licence for Property Lawyers
* SRA Certificate
Your duties as a Remortgage Team Leader would be:
* General management of remortgage supervisors and the remortgage team to ensure the team meets the performance requirements of the business and function smoothly on a day to day basis
* Ensuring suitable resource is available within the remortgage department to ensure adequate supervision and support throughout the department
* Ensuring processes are fit for purpose and meet the needs of the business making recommendations for improvement. The Remortgage Manager will have ultimate determination over all remortgage Conveyancing matters.
* Taking responsibility for quality control and review process and oversee complaints received by the remortgage department
* Owning production of both internal and panel MI including SLA performance for both our senior management team and partners using CMS systems and panel management software
* Analysing of MI to monitor performance and make recommendations
* In order to manage overflow volumes in our remortgage department Conveyancing Direct maintains a panel of law firms who will take a number of remortgage instructions each month. Panel management including performance, complaints, distribution of instruction/capacity, firm appointments, governance as well as other activities
* Managing the relationship and attend meetings with our partners and panel firms as required
