2nd Line Engineer,
I've got a fantastic opportunity for a 2nd Line Engineer that has arisen within an exciting defense company that is aiming to grow rapidly in 2021. This would be an ideal opportunity for someone to further their 2nd line skills and progress with an array of technologies in a supportive and brilliant environment.
As a 2nd line engineer, you will be responsible for providing IT support to the IT infrastructure and end-user devices used. They are looking for a proactive, individual with relevant and recent knowledge and experience in providing 2nd line support covering both network and end-user applications.
Your main responsibilities as 2nd Line engineer will include:
* IT infrastructure maintenance including patching and updates of Endpoints, Servers, Switches and Firewalls, including maintenance of system configuration design records.
* Configuration, build, and maintenance of End User Devices (e.g. Laptops, Printers).
* Ongoing management of IT support Tickets including prioritization, reporting, and timely resolution of all Ticketed issues.
* Provide day-to-day support and guidance to staff on using Corporate IT.
* Provision of support to 3rd party software tools employed within the Division and ongoing support to the identification and evaluation of new 3rd party software tools
