ABC Teachers, are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work in an SEN alternative provision based in Loughborough on a flexible basis. The school requires Teaching Assistants with experience in SEN to work in intervention work, to start from March 2021.

The role

Working on a 1:1 or small group basis with young adults with a range of SEMH and behavioural issues. You will provide educational support to students under instruction of the class teacher. This role is flexible to suit your lifestyle, however a long-term position may be available for the right person.

To be considered for this position, you will:

Share our vision and approach to engaging children and young people who find mainstream education challenging.
Have previous experience working with children and young individuals
Suitable qualifications are desirable, such as Learning Support, Health and Social Care and Young Peoples Workforce
Have strong communication skills, this will enable you to quickly build a positive rapport with students.
Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
