PIP Document Review Nurse (Back Office Role)
Nurses: RGN, RMN, RNLD Salary: GBP35k/pa + Benefits + Bonus
Location: Glasgow (work from home for the foreseeable future; company laptops provided to access relevant systems)
On behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), Stonebranch Healthcare is looking to recruit Nurses for PIP Document Review Nurse/ Paper Based Disability Assessor role.
PIP Document Review Nurse/ Disability Assessor Requirements:
* Valid NMC pin
* A minimum of 2 years' experience as a nurse
* No previous assessor experience required as full, paid training is provided
*PLEASE NOTE: All Disability Assessor work is conducted at home and is computer- and telephone- based for the foreseeable future. Company laptops provided to access relevant systems.*
PIP Document Review Nurse/ Disability Assessor role:
* Annual salary of GBP35k-GBP38,500
* Shifts are Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm (office hours), with Bank Holidays off as standard
* Full training is supplied remotely through an initial tailored 20 week, fully paid course (company laptop provided), with additional ongoing on-the-job support
* Carry out medical file work by analysing and interpreting clinical information and medical evidence
* Writing a concise reports to a professional standard. These reports are then used as the basis for DWP to make decisions on whether a person does or does not get PIP
* This role is to compile impartial, holistic reports only and does not require you to make any decisions on claim outcomes.
* Up to 50% caseload as working from home on completion of training
PIP Document Review Nurse/ Disability Assessor Benefits:
* 25 days annual leave, with the option to buy and sell up to 10 days
* 10 days of emergency leave a year (school closures etc)
* Pay rise of GBP1,000 at 9 months and further GBP1,000 at 18 months of employment
* Pension scheme, matching up to 10% of your contributions

* Reimbursement of your annual NMC registration fee
