Our client is looking for an ambitious Sales Supervisor to join an ever-expanding team in the heart of Cardiff.
Job Description:
To oversee the everyday running of the Internal Sales Department. Managing the Internal Sales Team and ensuring that orders are processed accurately and sales targets, turnover & profitability are exceeded. Liaising with the Warehouse & Transport Department to ensure that customers informed about the status of their orders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the operation and staffing of the internal sales department.
* In conjunction with the Branch Manager, responsible for the staff, their recruitment, assessment, training, motivation, and team morale.
* Working with the sales team to ensure orders from customers by fax, phone, internet, over the counter, informing them of the products they need.
* Ensure that staff are adequately informed and trained in respect of all products lines available to customers.
* Work with the senior team to promote new product lines through marketing and advertising.
* Ensuring all customers are informed of any delays to their orders or shortages in product lines.
* Preparing all end of day documentation including all monies received from the sales department ready for the Accounts Department.
* Ensuring all complaints details are correct before passing on all relevant information to an appropriate team member.
* To continually review all trading methods, recommending improvements for efficiencies and cost effectiveness and prepare monthly sales reports.
