The Company - .Net Developer

My client are a market leading digital engineering business. They are an innovative, forward thinking, software house based in the heart of Manchester City Centre.

They are looking to hire an exceptional, ambitious, personable .NET Developer into their expanding team for GBP40,000 - GBP50,000 basic + benefits.

They work with enterprise clients across E-commerce, finance, pharma and many other industries, working on their business critical software.

They bring clients on and work incredibly interesting Back End projects including; API development, website development, content management systems, digital product development, hosting & cloud services, progressive web apps, web applications, system integration & machine learning to name a few.

Working with the best tools and practices, alongside a high-performing team of developers, they are looking for someone who is keen to keep up with the latest technology and work in a high quality role which involves expert clean code.

They even want this developer involved in client facing elements, to sit alongside the Managing Director on important client meetings to really understand a client's requirement to best create a bespoke project.

This is not your typical consultancy/agency work. They build platforms for globally recognised businesses with incredible success, and you will be involved In the end to end development and application of the project - not just shipped off to work as part of a wider team.

What You Will Be Doing - Senior .NET Developer

Design, develop and deploy new greenfield projects using .NET Core
Working fully Agile on client projects
Planning, designing, developing mission-critical business systems & websites for enterprise clients
Working in Object Oriented programming, test-driven development, cloud architecture and databases (SQL)
This is a Back End developer role but knowledge of Front End can help

The Skills Needed - Senior .NET Developer

C# and .NET Framework, especially .NET Core
JavaScript ideal but not essential (or knowledge of any Front End framework will help)
Ability to create secure, scalable, enterprise-level architecture using Azure Service Bus and microservices
Problem solving skills
Understanding of CMS systems
People skills. You will be sat in client meetings occasionally and working with other developers (80% of the team are devs)
