Our Client is a global legal firm, specialising in risk, regulatory and M&A strategy. The firm is a trusted partner and a recognised world leader in the areas of litigation, arbitration, competition and investigations.

On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Service Transition Manager for a 3 month contract based in Manchester (currently remote).

Purpose of the Role:

  • The Service Transition function (within the Service Assurance & Transition Team) is responsible for the GT&I management and coordination of the all Service Design and Transition activities, processes, systems and functions deliver any project from idea to live delivery.

As a Service Transition Manager you will be responsible for:

  • To ensure that the project has delivered against the transition requirements against each stage, creation and continued update of the Service Design Document until the point of Go Live, ensure the acceptance criteria is met and both Service and operations have the tools and skills in place to support the new software and to ensure Early Life Support is in place.

    • Making sure acceptance criteria fulfilled
    • Ensure stage gates are passing with all info from transition perspective
    • Make sure serviced and operations are ready to take on new product - and that has training been delivered and enough resource is in place

What we require from the candidate:

  • Previous experience as a Service Transition Manager (ideally globally but not essential)
  • Experience in rolling out support models: ensuring correct skills set, headcount is already in place and that training has been assigned where necessary etc. Steps to a successful transition
  • Transition skills/service transition. Not service architecture, not theory based, need a hands on person. Frameworks are already in place
  • ServiceNow would be an advantage
