Data and Analytics Engineer - Permanent - Staffordshire - up to GBP50k base + Benefits

One of our clients, based in Tamworth, Staffs are embarking on a large-scale digital transformation to become an industry leading data driven company that delivers simply brilliant customer experience and innovative, digitally enabled wash and shower space solutions and services and as a result are recruiting an experience Data and Analytics Engineer/Architect to join their team.

You'll be required to detemine and manage the enterprise wide data and information requirements and technology platform so you will have data architecture expertise to work with key stakeholders in the business to understand their needs, using that information to create a data Use Case pipeline that drive value creation. In the role, you will be responsible for creating and managing the data platform, data integration tools and support the data governance approach and practises across the entire business and IT landscape.

Minimum of 3 years experience in IT, with 2+ years in information system design with an understanding of major cloud provider data management technologies (eg AWS, Azure) with experience of data virtualisation and visualisation tools (eg Tableau, Qlick, Donodo).

You must have Data Modeling and information classification expertise at the enterprise level and understand metamodels, taxonomies and ontologies with a familiarity with data science concepts, as well as MDM, Business Intelligence and data warehouse design and implementation techniques. Any experience with distributed management and analytics in cloud and hybrid environments will hep your application.
