Full Stack Software Developer

Experian Consumer Services (ECS) is the team behind your Experian Free Credit Score and the advanced CreditExpert product. The ECS Technology team work as part of an Agile business that has been through a complete technical and organisational transformation.
Now working as part of cross functional delivery teams that include Product Owners, Developers, Designers and Quality Assurance specialists amongst others, we are deploying new versions of our applications multiple times per day. We're using modern technologies such as React.js and more than 100 microservices that combine to form a cloud native platform we are proud of, and that our customers love.

We're a growing team, and we need more people who can help us build exciting journeys and features for our customers, whilst also helping us keep this as a great place to work. We hope you might be the one!
We're looking for a Full Stack Developer. Full Stack means different things to different people, but at ECS Technology we mean that you'll understand how to build for the web using HTML, CSS and JavaScript, that you're comfortable writing backend code in C#, but that most importantly you are excited to try new technologies and different ways of working.

Some of the skills and experience we value are:
• A passion for building and supporting engineering teams including recruitment, coaching and mentoring.
• Comfortable with balancing the long and short-term delivery needs of the business
• Building reliable and scalable platforms for our customers
• Have an expert knowledge of software engineering and delivery principles, and be able to demonstrate that you've used these in a commercial setting
• A great collaborator and communicator
We use these following tools/technologies to build our products. These are not mandatory but we'd expect you to be knowledgeable about these:
• HTML, CSS, React and building for both desktop and mobile
• .NET Core and C#
• Node.js
• Javascript
• REST APIs
• Javascript unit testing
• Cloud/AWS
• Development and CI/CD tools such as Jira, Git, AWS CodeDeploy
• Docker
• Splunk
You'd be joining a delivery team who use Scrum and would be part of an organisation that focuses on agility at its core. You'll find it easiest to understand the way we work if you've worked using Agile delivery methods in the past, but it's not mandatory. We also have regular knowledge sharing sessions, hack days, team building days and so much more.
