As a Support Worker in Plymouth, you'll be providing support and assistance to enable the people in your care to live their life and make the most of each day, within their own home. Your duties will be varied and will include supporting service users with personal care tasks, meal preparation, medication support, clinical needs, feeding and PEG care, social activities and any other services required. The ideal applicant will have prior experience of supporting with paediatric, autism, challenging behaviour and de-escalation training.
We require
You'll be an empathetic and compassionate caregiver, with experience of caring professionally or for a loved one. You'll be comfortable assisting clients with limited mobility, and with a valid Moving and Handling certificate. You'll be fuelled by your desire to make a real difference to the lives of people in need. Access to your own vehicle is desirable but not required.
