Bates & Bradshaw are recruiting on behalf of a major Construction & Maintenance company in the Hull area who operate as one of the leading building, repairs, and maintenance contractors. They are presently employing nearly 500 people and have a turnover of GBP50 million and they have some ambitious plans in place to grow this again over the coming years. Purpose of the Role

* To provide professional operational and performance management of all internal operational staff and external subcontractors employed by the company.

* Responsible for ensuring all work(s) are completed and comply with BSth IEE along with current industry and legislation standards. Company Policies & Procedures and key performance targets

Key Responsibilities

* To lead by example and provide professional operational and management of all internal operational staff, Supervisory staff and external contractors employed by the Company.

* To actively work with the management team to deliver service requirements and through continuous development look at efficiencies throughout the business.

* Responsible for monitoring and maintaining H&S standards and suggest improvements where required.

* Lead a team of Supervisors/operatives/contractors.

* Provide support and deputise for the Manager/Deputy Operations Manager at client/contract/internal meetings where required.

Requirements

* Previous Supervisory experience within an Electrical Contracting and or Electrical Maintenance environment essential.

* 17th or 18th IEE Qualified.

* City & Guild 2391 / 2394 Inspection & Testing Qualified.

* Time served apprentice trained.

* A minimum of 5 - 10 years' experience in electrical and contracting environment.

* Flexible and adaptable to changing work environments.
