Support Developer | Nottingham | To GBP50k

I am currently working with a software company in Nottingham who are looking for an experienced Support professional to join their growing team working on their global platform products. This role will see you working closely with the senior support team to improve internal system performance and reduce the time spent by engineers on support tickets and issues raised on infrastructure, web products, and applications.

This position will see you supporting systems at head office and across their data centres, maintaining and updating relevant documentation, monitoring and tuning systems to ensure the highest levels of efficiency is available. You'll be providing some support duties when required by the business and occasional out of hours work. There will be some requirement to review and make slight amendments to code - so you'll need to be able to turn your hand to some coding (nothing too extensive, but the ability to read, review, and make alternations in C#,.NET, SQL, and HTML is required).

Experience-wise, you'll have proven experience working in a support or IT Operations position and have managed ticketing across multiple support teams. You'll have worked in an Agile environment and have an understanding of the full SDLC and some software delivery technologies. Experience of managing knowledge bases within IT support will also be required for this role.
