Job Summary

•Support commercial and contractual discussions with the customer

•Perform contract management related tasks around contract change, reviewing new business proposals, commercial disputes and emerging customer requirements in alignment with Customer and Legal Director, as needed

•Ensure the contract is monitored and commercial exposure is identified, reported and risk management mitigation plans are put in place, agreed and monitored

•Identify and implement process improvements to enhance commercial performance

•Support CHDA Change team and colleagues in drafting/reviewing contract changes to ensure compliance with the contract and evaluate the commercial impact on CHDA

•Provide ad-hoc commercial support to colleagues across the business, as required

Salary Range

Non London: GBP44,000 - GBP49,000

  • London: GBP51,000 - GBP56,000

Job Description Summary

•Provide commercial awareness, advice and support to CHDA colleagues as appropriate and as requested

•Support the business in addressing and/or responding to contractual matters/issues

•Support change management and sub group work stream teams in respect to commercially and contractually impacting change requests, attending and contributing to meetings as commercial representative

•Supporting and advising on amendments to contractual wording, supporting decision making and the impact this has on the Agreement.

•Maintain and develop CHDA risk framework, preparing reports for CHDA senior leadership and collaborating and contributing to UK Risk, as required.

•Maintain contract, supporting review and acceptance of re-baseline contract versions and keep appropriate records of contract variations to enable commercial support and contract review requirements

•Draft change requests, contract variations and formal correspondence, as required, and on behalf of CHDA colleagues, ensuring appropriate approvals are obtained.

•Monitor contract obligations, requesting updates from CHDA stakeholders as required, and ensuring obligations are reported to customer in line with Agreement. Report any instances of non-compliance or inability to report against any obligations to Senior Leadership Team.

•Support with maintaining management of monthly obligations and discussions with customer to agree any actions

•Develop and maintain effective working relationships with customer counterparts

•Support colleagues to consider and address any contractual issues arising, keeping both CHDA and Customer stakeholders informed and escalating timely and where appropriate.

Qualifications & Experience

•Educated to degree level or hold a relevant professional qualification in a business-related subject

•Relevant commercial experience including an understanding of risk management and able to demonstrate business analysis

•Strong MS Excel skills and proficient with Office

•Experience in effective prioritising and collaborative working
